Rohit Sharma-led Indian team has reached to Colombo for the T20 Trial Series starting in Sri Lanka. Major players, including captain Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, have been rested from this series between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Mumbai: Rohit Sharma-led Indian team has reached to Colombo for the T20 Trial Series starting in Sri Lanka. Major players, including captain Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, have been rested from this series between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.


The tournament will start on March 6 when India will host Sri Lanka in R Premadasa Stadium of Colombo. The final match will be played on March 18. All three teams will clash with each other twice, and the top two teams will make the place in the final. All matches will be played in Colombo.

This T20 tournament is being played on the occasion of 70th Independence Day of Sri Lanka and this tournament has been named Nidas Trophy.
