Ravichandran Ashwin from Deodhar Trophy

India's star spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has dropped out of the trophy. Ashwin is not fully fit, and the BCCI medical team has advised him to rest. Ashwin was also made captain of India A in the Deodhar Trophy. In place of Ashwin, Shahbaz Nadeem has been included in the team.

After being out of Ashwin's tournament, Ankit Banve has been made the new captain of the team. Apart from this, Akshdeep Nath was sent from India A to India B team.

Deodhar Trophy will be played in Dharamshala from March 4 to 8, while the Iranian trophy will be played from 14 to 18 March in Nagpur.

Under-19 World Cup team captain Prithvi Shaw and the tournament's biggest player Shubhaman Gill has been kept in India A. Team India's fast bowler Mohammad Shami is also in the same team. India B has included Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary and India's fast bowler Umesh Yadav.
